$75k OSHA fine for parts grinder safety violations

Pep Boys recently got a $75,000 OSHA citation related to parts grinders. This video discusses safety procedures for using a part grinder. Grinder safety is one of the top 10 OSHA violations by Auto Dealers.

Never fails...the day an Inspector shows up Tommy the Tech was in the back using the grinder to sharpen his lawnmower blade with all the shields off smoking a cigarette and no eye protection.

Great reminder. That one sheild on the left is typical of nearly every shop you walk into.
