I work at a dealership that only gets maybe 1 to 3 ups a day and maybe gets 1 sells call a day. I sell around 8 to 10 cars a month at my dealership. I have a facebook, I posts used cars on craigslist, and ask for referrals. I really want to get to 20-25 cars a month. Anyone have good advise or tips? I know I can do some much better, just need help getting to the next level.

Thank you so much!

Contact me Ross and I will send you a free sales training book . I have had rookies deliver 40 cars a month there first year in the business . If you are aggressive and do what I say , you can easily do 25 plus a month like others I have helped .

Hi Ross,

The fact that you are asking for help suggests that you are half way to accomplishing your goal.  Couple that with your reference to the place that you work as "my dealership" and add another indicator that you have a chance for success.

That said, you will note that I made some minor corrections to your post and you should also know that your title should say "sell" not "sale."  My intent is not to embarrass you but rather to point out that attention to detail is a critical ingredient in representing yourself to your customers and your friends on Dealer Elite should provide the perfect place to practice.

The best general advice I can give is to build on your recognition that you are in your own business and the traffic on the showroom floor at the dealership that you have partnered with only represents 30% of your potential new business.  Their service drive and data base of previous customers can provide another 20% of your new business with the remaining 50% resting squarely on your entrepreneurial back.

Networking with family, friends, local businesses and Chambers of Commerce, Churches, Civic Organizations etc. as a member/participant who coincidentally sells cars vs. a "car salesperson" who joined to sell them something can easily provide the other 50%!  Sometimes the easiest solutions solve the hardest problems and your request to sale, (sell), more cars is a perfect example.

People like to do business with people that they like so you might as well start with people that already like you.  After all, what are friends for.
