While I work closely with automotive dealers, I also work in a call center doing some marketing and administrative stuff that no one else wants to do. Since we have such a high turnover rate, it seems like every week, I'm posting an ad for a new salesperson for our sales floor.

The boss' choice for finding people?

CraigsList.

How do you guys feel about finding folks on CraigsList? Better yet, do you go after people, as in, searching posts of people who are looking for work? Do you post your job that you have available? Do you do both?

Additionally, do you judge people by their e-mail addresses? No lie, I had someone apply for an internal management position who had fabulous credentials, but an e-mail address similar to "HotSexyLadyInPA@gmail.com"

Looking forward to your thoughts.

Simple solutions for complex times.

Craigs list is a start, but use that as a redirector into another landing page, and sort out the bad apps automatically, not manually.

Resumes and postings at bulk rate to save tons of money, and use companies like TK Worldwide, Inc. to save both time AND money and you have yourself a very low cost high ROI....

Call me and I'll explain it to you sometime.  :)

Hi Katie from Dublin Ireland, USA can't be much different from Ireland. The best place to get sales staff is the same place you take business from, your competition, simple and effective.
