Hello Everyone,

#1 How many Managers are effectly listening to the salespeople?

# 2 How many Managers are listening to each other?

#3 How many G.M. are watching and maybe falling in the same steps

How many of us are just covering up to make big brother happy?

It is time we use our ears and our eyes to see what is going on around us. If the dealership heads came in and asked each of its people to write what is happening and is management listening to you or what change would you like or what do you think would make your job better. Would you fail of would you get a good grade?

I would like to hear your thinking on this subject, Do you have a sytem in place to control this kind of thing and if so share it each other.

I believe one of the best things we can do is use our heart. So much is talked about using our ears. I've heard it said that God gave us two ears and one mouth.... but what people fail to realize is that he also gave us one heart as well. And if you do the math you will see that the heart is bigger than  our ears and mouth combine! If we all just used our heart to communicate we would be in a better place. Tell, listen, look, smell, do it all with love, do it all with the heart.

Hello

Johnny B Awesome great Idea. Leading with the heart is good but it will be broken alot. As you know the lord led with the heart and still people didn't listen. I think you're on the right track, we can do it with love in our hearts but how do we get everyone to buy in?

The heart is a muscle. I have never heard of anyone breaking a muscle. Their arm maybe. They say people can have a broken heart, but I disagree. People can have a hurt heart IF they let it get hurt.

Like you arms, you may not be able to lift very much at first, but after a few years of working out, you could benchpress a bus.

NOW here's the point IF YOU could benchpress a bus, how excied would you be? Do you think that excitement would show in your eyes, your voice, your body language?

Sure you're not lifting a bus, but you are lifting people. And when they see your heart, through your eyes, they will listen... through there ears.

Hi  Johnny,

No a muscle can't be broken but can be ripped. That is very painful that is what happen when your dealing with the heart. Dealing with listening to what people are saying keeps a great attidude. Everyone understands what your talking about because you listen to what they said and did what they asked . Now that is where the heart comes in they walk away buying or not buying loving your great listening and attitude to help them. Showing great understanding..

Great subject.

I think sales people in general are so passionate about their knowledge and selling skills that they forget to listen or ask the right questions at times. This is true for Managers and leaders as well; strong and convicted on teaching or leading a certain way that adaption and change is sometimes forgotten about as well.

The key is to learn and practice motivational listening!~

Good blog!

M.B.W.A..........management by walking around.....listening to the people....

Much like you heart after an attack, you must GIVE someone permission to enter it. To mend it. 'Tis always true when dealing with the heart. You must let someone in. "I will greet this day with love in my heart." The Scroll Marked II Og Mandino
