Great post Abe,I'm taking home some Expressive Salespeople, thanks....How much do I owe Mr, McDonald?
Since you are the first, you get a discount ... however, a life time of follow-up training support is required ... along with a 401K and love !
Well thanks...to bad it wasn't more of a Buffet though, their are other things I would like to have on my salesperson plate from the other three "dishes"

My shopping cart is full of Expressive type!  That would be an "I" on the DISC spectrum and "I"'s are able to adapt themselves and build relationships with all types of buyers!

Awesome post Abe... E, I, E, I Oooooo!!!!!!

Okay, the Farm can develop and plant new hybrid seeds ... you selected:

Expressive
      Friendly, gregarious, talkative.
      Stands out, colorful.
      Creative, imaginative.
      Generates excitement.
      Initiates activity, motivates.

What would you like to add ?
Neat, meticulous, organized.
      Comprehensive steady worker.
Team worker, agreeable.good listener.Self-motivated, hard worker.

I would like to add about 80% of the intellectual...too nerdy can be a turn off!  Task Accomplisher and self-motivater from the controller, and dependable, loyal, team player, good listener and blends in well from the passive!

When you figure out how to do this, I would like to place my order for my future husband please, Abe!!!!!

E-I-E-I Ooooohhh!

The Farm has discovered that each of us, are actually a combination of each sales type ... but we do have a dominate sales type ... except for Gene Diehm ... who does not want to be judged !

Abe...

Good post. To add a bit more information......

About 32% of the population are Intellectuals

53% are Passives

6% of the population are Controllers

9% are Expressives

We need all types because they reflect the general population. The real key is how we train them to recognize and adapt their personality to the personality types of their prospects. Good leaders will have each sales person capitalize on his or her strengths.

Your thoughts...Ron

Ron ... you are on Target !  Thanks for being Expressive !

Ron...I love it!  Our sales force should match the population they are selling to...in all respects:   diversified race, ethnic group, gender and personality type!
