Have you ever really thought about what your doing as an automobile salesperson today?

Let's look at three area's (if you make it that far) that will help you determine what your really doing in this business.

A.Completely satisfying your customers needs.

    Today's salesperson must have total clarity in meeting every customers needs, everytime. If you believe this is your only purpose as a salesperson, stop reading this blog.

B.Working on the purpose of the principles or investors of the store.

   As a salesperson, you are directly involved and greatly contribute to the profitablity of the organization you are a part of. If your own personal principles are not aligned with those of the owners, stop reading this blog.

C.Developing your own needs.

   Have you come this far? If you have, then it's because you have been able to master your needs as a salesperson and in doing so, have either met or exceeded the needs that are A and B.

By aligning your needs with your customers and the owners, you are moving toward and experiencing your own personal needs and desire's. You have set yourself a clear path to building the goals in your life by exceeding your customers needs and contributing to the profitability of the organization. You do so because you picture all of the desires you have as an individual. Your health, income, your relationships are all a part of what you want to see 1, 5, 10, 20 years down the road. You just didn't set your goals, you see yourself at the end of each goal feeling complete and free in knowing that while your needs we're met you satisfied hundreds and maybe even thousands of other people's needs.In doing all of this you remained focused on what you could control and didn't complain about what you couldn't control. As a salesperson who knows thier purpose, others see true leadership in you.

Michael, when we know "why" we do what we do, the "how" becomes more manageable. We control our on destiny in this business...we have to first see what others around us cannot.
