Those who foster these skills and embrace their natural advantages as women will be the first to take on more high leadership roles and will serve as an example to other women in an era of massive social change.

Since people buy from people they know and trust (first sales buying rule); buy first on emotion, justified by logic (second rule) and last but not least buy on value that is unique to them (third sales buying rule), then this does suggest your sales communication skills are critical to your ability to increase sales.

Sales people with high emotional intelligence outsell those with low EI. I think high EI benefits anyone.

As my career as grown, I have learned that the higher up the ranks you go the more you take on the role of servant.  Having Emotional Intelligence is a benefit in the role of servant leader.  The ability to be empathetic without being pathetic is a skill set that just don't teach in leadership camp.
