Applied concepts teaches the same stuff that everyone else does; 30 year-old strategies that piss people off and make sales people sound foolish on the phone. Best of the bunch is Skill Development Systems. Check out the strategy at this address; http://www.80salesfor199.com/
Chris,

I'd love to show you how we're helping dealers improve phone skills. Here's a sample of our coaching process: http://phoneupninjas.com/members/review.php?coachingid=2027&rco... You should have heard how this rep sounded when we first started with him, big improvement!

Please contact me and I'll gladly provide you with an online demo. We also have a very extensive list of satisfied customers who will gladly vouch for our program.

I would look up all the venders that say their the best and ask them for 3 Dealers each that are using their product and mystery shop them. Have your team of Mgrs listen in and make the right choice!
P.S Stay away from any contracts Month to Month agreement is the only way to go!

Good Luck!
Manny, great advice. I would also recommend that you take these three things into account.

1. What kind of appointment show rate can they prove?(shows prove they are bringing them in closing rates will be different between stores)
2. What is the implementation strategy?( to make sure it is comfortable for Managers to stick with and execute)
3. What is the length and style of training? (Sales skills need enough time and practice to form habits not just knowledge)

The reality of principles being taught shouldn't have changed over the course of time. It is all about bodies in the showroom buying cars and being happy. Training companies have been borrowing each others strategies for years and calling them their own.

I hope this helps. Good Luck
