Question: Are you an optimist or a pessimist and please explain why?

Answer: Optimist, and the way they explain will clarify if the base of Attitude is right for hire!

I've seen all walks of life to be successful at sales, as the majority are trainable who have the right attitude.
Thanks Bobby...and if they answered Pessimist, we should throw something at them.....lol

I thought I was on the wrong discussion.... Where oh where's worlds are colliding! You are so right Bobby...Although some peope say they are optimists and they are Eeyore...."Good morning, Pooh Bear," said Eeyore gloomily. "If it is a good morning," he said. "Which I doubt," said he.
"Why, what's the matter?"
"Nothing, Pooh Bear, nothing. We can't all, and some of us don't. That's all there is to it."
"Can't all what?" said Pooh, rubbing his nose.
"Gaiety. Song-and-dance. Here we go round the mulberry bush."

Nice....how about when they all get together and build Eeyore a house, it's all rickety and hardly any wood used and not much covering him up at all but better than he was having nothing at all. Eeyore says "It's nice nice house , a little breezy but a nice house"...in Eeyore voice....lol

I would ask. "List ten reasons that you believe will make you successful selling cars"
Best answer. "I will do all these things I listed"

No matter what they listed, that is commitment as to why they are there and what they perceive to be there duty's. We add to the list with coaching and training. Hired!
I like that, Rick!
