No one can see the future however, the decisions you make on a daily basis definitely develop the chances for failure or success. Kenny Rogers said in a song “You got to know when to hold them, know when to fold them” illustrating the same concept that the choices we make today develop our future. What we all need to understand is how to sort the clutter we get hit with every day and remove the distractions from achieving the future we desire. It all starts with a commitment towards achieving what you desire for your future. Make a short list of accomplishments that you could achieve and have a brighter future. Next, determine what actions are required to achieve that result. Research best practice processes that are necessary and implement them as soon as possible. Expect to be thrown curveballs that require adjustments on an ongoing basis. The reason cars have steering wheels, shock absorbers, and a brake system is because no road is smooth without curves. You would never sit in your car waiting for every light to be green before you start it. You start down the road dealing with the bumps and the curves heading towards your destination. Your determination to positively impact your future with direct action is a requirement. Your path is a choice to be determined only by you. Choose wisely, my friends.
