Mr Bradberry makes several good points. Jim zigler is outstanding when it comes to training. The other is let the GM run the store. Some times I have a GM tell me that they aren't a good trainer and could use some help. Nothing wrong for knowing your weakness and asking for help. There is where you need a good trainer to hire, train sales people and your managers if needed. Just make sure they have a proven track record before you hire them.

Sandy, YOU GOT THAT RIGHT!
Notice that the people stepping out of the woodwork are the dealers and they are saying, Hey, wait a minute here, just cause YOU don't know who Jim Z. is........He's been the most influential person in my life, and I own the store! Here watch this video.... http://www.youtube.com/jamesaziegler#p/a/u/0/mSqSmhl4yck and see for yourself!

Well said Sandy! Let's build a bigger pie!!!

Good advice Bobby. Thank you. I will take that to heart. I will admit, as AutoNation's preferred vendor since 2004 TK Worldwide has had its share of "brain damage issues" but were, are and will always be ready for the challenge! Developing and executing recruiting initiatives across the US for your stores was one of my bigger challenges in my 11 years as a recruiter. This whole time I never set foot in Las Vegas! It's a tribute to your efforts! Speaking of listening...If I could give Mike Maroone any advice it would be simply this...Hire good GMs, let THEM run the stores, and by all means..........LISTEN TO AND TRUST THEM!

When I developed the recruiting initiative it was designed so that I you could ween yourselves off my services. The 180 day revolving contract is still in play 6 years later. Kudos to you!

Agreed Kevin...Cavett Robert, and we should all know who he is, built an amazing life and career around a collaborative philosophy anchored by his motto: "Don't worry about how we divide up the pie, there is enough for everybody. Let's just build a bigger pie!"

Todd is ON THE TRAIN! He's not sitting back waiting for it to come to him! That's what I'm talkin about! Go Todd!
The answer to your question is, "whenever they want" a poll for the ultimate recruiter! Sign me up! I am not saying that there aren't some great companies out there. But I am saying that TK Worldwide, Inc. is the best! We bring the heat, and I back up the hi talk with heavy delivery! And our dealer surveys say...........We get it done right for our customers! We have the bio and the street cred and the following to back up a challenge because for 11 years we've delivered consistently and with excellent results! We've done more with less than any other recruiting company in the Country, and our dealer clients are who keep me on point. They've given me the HONOR of servicing their stores for over a decade and I take their loyalty VERY VERY SERIOUSLY! So, I say, anytime! Bring it! But, out of respect for our spot light few, GC JZ and the others, let's let them finish their poll first!

Mr Gaber you make a wery interesting point about hands on training. What is hands on training to people? To my clients there is more than in class training and then trying to close a few deals. Hands on training to me and my clients is this. Taking them outside and doing a walk around, doing a service walk, going outside the dealership prospecting, helping them make phone calls to make appointments. 102 degrees and I'am taking 38 sales people on a demo at Wyatt / Johnsons. The owners and GM all loved it. I think that is what you mean by hands on training or it is to my clients. I really do think thats what makes some trainers different from others. Nothing is better than one on one hands on training. You can't work with as many dealers by doing this but you get much better results. I have been doing this for 24 years. As far as Jim, I agree with you. Great point Mr Gaber.

Interesting phylosophy to ask for the vote. What company is actually hands on helping people? Great to produce matierial, actually excellent matierial. BUT, does it help the people that need it, or is it a good talking point? Who actually has the hands on job of doing the best in the auto industry. At first Blush, Grant is certainly well known. I just think Jim does the quieter more efficient job and he has taken the high road. Please note, I know neither, respect both, but voted for Jim. READ the qualities involved in the voting! and then ask yourself, I mean truly ask yourself, who does the better job. It has to be Jim.
