While it does not specifically pertain to the discussion at hand it continues to point out how vulnerable data can be at various points and what it can be used for. Little-known firms tracking data used in credit…See More

Have you Considered Reviewing Yelp?

I knew there were a lot of unhappy Yelp business owners, but I wasn't quite sure how many. Seems there is a decent bunch willing to complain about it. It looks like similar issues cross industry lines when it comes to disappearing reviews, accusations of false negative reviews, review shuffling, algo filter a joke, and more.…See More

The crux of the discussion was whether or not Google was blocking reviews from a common IP address because of the possibility of gaming the system or as some have suggested, because a customer might feel “pressured” if asked to do this review while still at the business location.

Many opinions and…

Hey Scott! I am taking on a new position here, where I am really going to be more actively involved with our internet marketing. I know we have always talked about meeting either here or at World, but I would like to set something up if we can. I would love to learn a little bit more about some of the things I can do with our reviews sight, as well as, other sights. Let me know when a good time for you might be. Thanks!!!

Scott -- Glad to accept. If you can put up with John I guess you're a pretty good guy. Do you live on his lake near Vandalia, MI, or elsewhere? Are you one of the men who goes fishing with him every year...is that in Michigan too? Jim
