I would ask,

Are you looking for a Job or a Career?

What I mean by that is...what if, he doesn't know, understand or have the life experiences to answer career?

Answer would be a career! Where i can learn a trade or craft and make a successful living for me and my family.
Or an answer somewhere along those lines.

My question would be this: "How willing are you to take "NO" as an answer?.....Then tell them "NO", you are not hired and see what they do to convince you otherwise. If they go above and beyond to convince me, then I know they will go above and beyond to convince the customer.......
Love it!...I told my son the very exact thing to him a week ago when he was trying to get into a Toyota store near his home in Ohio...they said no to him or were putting him off and he just sat there and kept asking when could he start ,where should he sit and how soon before I can start prospecting!....got the job of course.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years financially from now?
If they see themselves way better off than they are now, we have room for growth. I make sure I watch where their eyes go and how convicted they are verbally to that question.
and what would their reply to that question need to be for you to hire them?

question "do you have a pen?" answer "yes i do" simple as that. i would sooner predict the stock market than the potential of a salesperson. i would however make the applicant wait for at least an hour without speaking to anyone. i think if he stays he MIGHT be good
Do you have any felony's? No!! Lol
If none their in,right?
