The more chances you give a customer to contact you the better business gets. The nice thing about a cell phone is if you don't want to answer it you don't. But you know who called and can call them back when you are ready.
I feel that a cell phone is the best form of contact, in fact it is the ONLY number on my business card!!! I never miss a call that I want to take and heve all of my recent contacts stored right on my hip. It does not have to be 24/7, I turn my biz cell off on sundays and holidays and only answer if its important on my other personal times.
I agree with you Denny. You have to keep up with the times or time leaves you behind. I like the idea of keeping all your people on your phone and never missing a call. Best of luck to you my friend.

Not only do I give them my cell #, but my facebook, twitter, and Linkedin info. I want them to have mutiple ways to contact me. People change phones, work emails change if they have an employer based email. The more ways to stay in contact the better in todays quickly changing market.
Paul I like all the info you give a client on how to contact you. Some people I talk to don't want to be bothered when they are not at work. They say when I'am at work I work and when I'am at home I'am at home. Of course those people aren't at the top. However I do understand the private time with family and friends.

Thats the beauty of the other social mediums! If they can't talk you can get your message to them and they can reply later. Now to something else you said, if they are in sales they need to work at work, and at home and at dinner, at the mall etc... If one of my clients messages me no matter where I am I contact them right away! If you don't someone else who wants it more will.

I'am the same way. If a customer calls you at 10 pm and you miss the call. Would you call them back at 10. 05 pm?

Of course I would! If they called that late it has to be important, unless the pocket dialed you LOL
