I agree with you, the basics are what I see missing at most dealerships I'm in these days.
It's why John Wooden started practice with how to tie your shoes and wear your socks.
Even though he signed Lew Alcinder, Bill Walton, and many other All Americans, Coach Wooden started from the beginning. Skipping the 1st two steps is a toxic killer to car sales.
