Its a shame that anyone would interpret research and appreciating differences as sexist. Its a fact that women spend more time in the shopping and research process than men. Our research and findings are there tio help you better understand the preferences, differences and needs of women when shopping.

Thanks to everyone for all the nice comments. I hope it helps.

Delia, I think it is a little sexist to assume that it is only women who may want to go and search the internet for a better price.

This technique is not stopping customers wanting to think about it, it is just ensuring there is nothing else stopping them wanting to buy. It only works on two types of customers, men or women.

If you have a technique that works for women only, I'd love to hear it here on dealer elite. Can you post a video of your suggestions.

Thanks Again
Simon

Simon - great insight into consumer behavior. I like the "what if" conversation as you are allowing the customer to take control and move the conversation forward by uncovering those hidden objections - that frankly many customers just chose not to share. But do remember that women sometimes just need additional collaboration outside of the dealership with family or friends or sometimes spending time on the internet making sure they are getting the best deal. Women actually do like to think about it sometimes and if the sales rep is handles that response well and appropriately she will even come back!
