Blogging to Drive Sales
Automotive marketers are shifting their budgets away from “interruption” advertising. Because 1/3 of the world’s population is on the internet, it is critical that auto, boat, motorcycle and boat dealers go inbound vs outbound to rev up revenue and sales. It goes without saying, dealers need to be where their buyers are in order to…

Swapalease.com, the nation’s largest car lease marketplace, reports lease credit approvals during the month of March were at 69.6%, up from last month’s yearly low of 66.7%. The 69.6% approvals mark is also the level of the last three months, indicating a credit approvals landscape that continues to hover near the “healthy” mark of 70%.

Perfection is unsustainable, while personal progress is obtainable.
Stay green and let yourself grow!
When someone claims to be “green”, what first comes to your mind? They are making an effort to reduce their carbon foot print on mother earth? Maybe they are a vegetarian? Or they are actively recycling?
When I hear…

It’s just after 5 A.M. and I’m really questioning why I am doing what I am doing-now that I’m too far from home to turn back, I might as well swipe my gym membership card and pay my penance for last night’s meal consisting of crawfish etoufee and fried fish. As I walk through the front doors, I can tell immediately that spin class is in…

I really don't know who I'm going to offend on this one. We've been researching so many vendors over the last couple of months that work with chat, lead-gen widgets, and website platforms themselves that we haven't taken the time to explore PPC vendors. Maybe that's why I was blindsided to find out that there are at least two vendors out there charging 20% and one…

Apple’s recent announcement of CarPlay which will integrate the iPhone, Apple maps and Siri into the car dashboard, is a move meant to compete directly with Google’s Open Automotive Alliance (OAA), and Microsoft’s Sync platform. This means big changes are in store for how shoppers driving, commuting and traveling by car will find and learn about your business.
The fast moving map space plus local-search is attractive areas for innovation for software developers. One of the more…

Hello and welcome to this week’s edition of Beggs on the Used Car Market, with used car pricing data from Ricky Beggs and Black Book. Just when most all parts of the country thought winter was gone and pollen from the budding trees was the dominate particles in the air, we hopefully had the final blast of winter weather that swept across the Midwest and actually left Detroit enough of the white fluffy flakes to set an all-time record level of snow for the winter season.
As the Black…

Facebook is always evolving. As it’s being developed (by hundreds of developers across the world), not every change is publicly announced. Instead, most changes simply abruptly appear on Facebook.
One of the most recent changes that may have gone unnoticed is the newly added “total likes” for posts, now displayed under the…

"Who's The Boss" was quite the popular TV show years ago. But in the workplace? The boss is not very popular at all. In fact, if you have a "boss" in your business, you could be running into drama and disaster if not determined and resolved.
You have probably seen this before, but really let each one sink in:
Leader's Attributes
Inspires employees
Depends on respect and honor
Cares for your…
